The last thing any company wants is to have someone they would have to clean up after or someone whose slack they would have to complete their work.

3. Student mentality
A great student mentality is just as important as a work ethic. Candidates that excite me are the ones that pull out their notebook to jot down things they are learning about. They showcase their student mentality, and it helps to push those who are not as familiar with note-taking or networking. If you are willing to learn the entry-level roles and gradually grow into a senior management position then this might be just what you were looking for.

4. Great attitude
Another necessary skill set is a great attitude. I believe that attitude is altitude. I make sure I am repeating those positive daily affirmations to myself. I am motivated, and you want to make sure that the company you are working with is motivated. You want them to be in a good position to get through processes, and you want them to want to keep pushing and getting more done. The deadlines and targets that they are setting should be their own.

5. Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm is a motivator, people are attracted to other enthusiastic people. When it comes to interactions, most people would want to talk to enthusiastic people. You want to make sure they know the process they are getting through and can sell what they believe in. Most people listening to other enthusiastic people are usually sold on the story because of the way they tell it.
