A recent study found that Black-owned businesses were financially at risk at a rate of over 111% higher than white-owned businesses prior to COVID-19. With the pandemic causing a national shutdown for many small businesses, minority-owned businesses are even more vulnerable, as many of them are in industries that were heavily impacted.
